With a range of at least 30 miles - with some users reporting accuracy of 60 miles and beyond - a single Slingshot RTK Base Station will service some 2 million acres with RTK correction signals that can deliver almost surgical accuracy in the field. The base station distributes RTK signals through cell phone networks. The system is compatible with every major cell provider in North America. This approach to connectivity has considerable impact for both precision ag dealers and their customers: 1) it means an order of magnitude increase in the area they can serve with a single data source and 2) customers in regions that previously didn't have access to RTK technology can now upgrade their operation to a new level of precision.
